At age 7, I wanted to be a ____ when I grew up:
An astronaut or fighter pilot. I was obsessed with the idea of going to Space Camp as a kid. I also loved the movie Top Gun, so my extremely logical backup plan was to become a fighter pilot.
Farthest place I’ve ever traveled:
Australia. I studied abroad in Surfer’s Paradise on the Gold Coast for 6 months. Learned to surf and had some amazing scuba trips to dive the Great Barrier Reef.
My ideal day:
A warm summer day on the water with family and friends, surrounded by all my home cooked favorites, songs filled with nostalgia playing nonstop and my inbox remains at zero.
Title of my future autobiography:
Too Many Tabs Open.” My life has been defined by jumping into as many projects, hobbies and opportunities as possible. I have learned more than I could have ever imagined but I can also feel a bit overwhelmed at times. Sure, my brain browser has tabs open for some really unique skillsets but sometimes I can’t quite figure out which tab the music is coming from.
If I could have a superpower:
Flying. It’s not uncommon for me to pack too many errands into a small amount of time. Flying would save me a ton of time and help me beat traffic. Nothing changes my mood quite like being surrounded by awful drivers.
If there’s one core lesson I can share from my time at Radius – surround yourself with great people. Hire the kind of teammates who inspire you with their talents and make you want to work harder to never let them down. You should also consider the types of clients you work with and the people you conduct business with. The wrong person in any of those areas can bring the whole dream crashing down. The right people can make the entire journey worthwhile.
